Re: What, nothing about Saints loss to TB/Brady?

Without turnovers, they score 9.

Very short field gave them 21. D played well enough to win. Period.

Re: Terry Fontenot new Falcons GM

Sick that we're losing him, more sick that he's going to the Falcons, and have to be on record that I hope he fails.

That said, congratulations to him and would be proud of HIM if he does succeed. Worst of luck to him now, best of luck to him for the long term.

Re: Temple 65-57

Most glaring thing to me, especially with the narrative of how bad our shooting is, was how many times on a shot everyone had bailed out and not a soul around to try to get the rebound. If you know your chances of making the shot are not good, why not stick around to try to rebound than bail and wor...

Re: A certain team from from a certain city

Saints have now won 7 in a row against da Bears, and got two of their receivers ejected in games this year (which just has to be an unofficial NFL record). I think we can put the 1990 and 2006 playoff losses to bed.

Windy must be a little salty today!

So what's our action plan to "refuse to accept" it? List of private university athletic programs who were terrible but turned it around and established great, sustained programs: Miami football Duke, Villanova, and Gonzaga in basketball Can you think of any others? And even Nova went back...

Pretty sure I had a night or two in my youth when as a passenger crossing the St. Claude Bridge on the way home to Chalmette, it could have been the Huey P and I wouldn't have known the difference - so not totally far-fetched! :-D

So are we saying the demand for steam has evaporated? Once again, why we can't ever be taken seriously in football - when a thread on our fans' board about our bowl bid turns into a technical discussion about the viability of steam generation. Meanwhile, Tigerdroppings is posting selfies of t...

SP is a great coach, has been doing wonders without Drew, and I'll take him over any Coach not wearing a hoodie. But I have no idea what he was doing yesterday. The loss is 100% on him. To not run hurry up late - it's like he wanted the loss to use it as a motivational tactic. The whole don't eat th...

Re: AD Dannen on The Current

As a Saints fan I get the double effect. But I think it is a self-enhanced stigma. There are a lot of NFL franchises that would take the Saints past 4 years. Two of those endings were complete flukes, last year, not so much. But I wouldn't trade the past 4 years or past 15 years of Saints football f...

Re: 2020-21: Tulane Bowl Game Opportunity Discussion

3- I trust the Athletic the most out of all those sources. We could beat LSU... LSU not beating Florida and Ole Miss is certainly not a sure thing, so a likely not a 4-6 or definitely not a 3-7 LSU team going to a Bowl. There are enough winning record teams that won't just be 3-2 that will get bids....

i am so far outside LA I can see the macroview that LSU winning would hurt their program more in the long run. if i lived in LA, I'd sit there and enjoy the bloodbath. The silver lining if we don't get a bowl invite is finishing with a winning season. But yes, I would take our chances to play one more game to help Pratt and the other youngsters continue to develop.

And sadly the thing that seems to be missed in all this is there is something really wrong with this kid, with the way he is wired. Better get him help or this will pale in comparison to what he might do down the road.

So why is the NFL screwing the Broncos on this when they have been rescheduling games right and left? This keeps coming up and everyone wants to call it consistency. However, as gerryb noted, they weren't following the masking rules, and the NFL clearly communicated in October, there would be no me...
