Not counting the Super-Regional series a few years ago.
A few years ago? That series win is almost old enough to legally drink!

Re: Baseball v rice

Despite having spent time as conference mates before, this is our first ever series win over Rice. I don’t remember Rice ever being bad but apparently that was only under Wayne Graham. Graham took over at Rice in 1992. He inherited a program that had tallied only seven winning seasons in 78 years o...

Re: Point of order... the season is over ....Hunter should be fired

It appears Oregon plays a match up zone Appears it works when you have good players and a competent coach. I don't think it wasn't a Hunter match up zone.. that's just what Lappas was calling it.. after I posted this the studio analyst (forget the coach) was saying it was a switching defense.. zone...

Re: Spring practice mega thread

I’ll disagree about the lack of verticality (if that’s a word) being on arm strength. Maybe it was lack of feel, and last year likely lack of quality play calling. Deuce was a great vertical threat the year before. Man I hope we have another guy like him on the squad this year Didn’t Pratt throw a ...

Re: Baseball at ULL Weekend Series (1-0)

I saw some of what nolawave saw last night in the season opener and in the opening game of the Irvine series. But the team is better. The bad at bats are of a different sort than last year’s. This year it’s better hitters coming up hacking rather than looking at called third strikes. The defense ha...

The Dartmouth men’s basketball team voted to unionize Tuesday in an unprecedented step toward forming the first labor union for college athletes and another blow to the NCAA’s deteriorating amateur business model. https://apnews.com/article/dartmouth-union-ncaa-basketball-players-2fd912fade62ffd812...
