Band for Homecoming?

What is the name of the band who will be playing for homecoming festivities tomorrow?

Please don’t say “the name of the band is Cowboy Mouth“

Yuck about time.

Frostop will be open though.

Yeah about ESPN2.

Not many students.

More time to get ready for Memphis.

Hope Memphis is 5-0 and we are 4-1 for Nationally Televised Friday Night Game.

Re: Value of the Cotton Bowl Win

I have no idea how to guestimate crowd size, or student section size. What I can say definitively is: 1) There had never been that many "students" (live human bodies) in that section of the stadium. 2) They were packed in there before I walked to my seats, which is generally 25-30 mins. be...

Re: CONSOLIDATED LIST OF COTTON BOWL HIGHLIGHT LINKS

A Tulane student with excellent editing skills and impressive creativity has put together an hour-long video with highlights of the entire year. He posted a thread with a link on the other board. I didn't think I needed another hour-long video until I watched it. More damp eyes. Pretty entertaining...

Re: Baseball vs. Campbell

SCOTS = Southern Culture on the Skids. Fun band, interesting music, social commentary on people below the Mason Dixon Line. Think Blazing Saddles with a great deal of cleverness in the form of music that combines CCR, Surf-Rock, B52's and tongue in check humor. One of their more famous songs from th...

Football Trading Cards

At the Cotton Bowl tailgate party the afternoon before the game, there was a table with Tulane Football Trading Cards. I gave them my name to send me an email, as they didn't have any for sale only some display copies. I would like to get a pack. Does anyone remember the name of the company that was...

Re: Autographs?

I remember (probably 17 years ago) asking Coach Rick Jones to have the team sign a baseball my son had gotten. He put it in the locker room where all of the players would see it and sign it. There may be a similar way to get that done with a football.

Good Morning everyone! I cannot wait to this weekend. I am throwing this out as a suggestion since I will be with a 21 y/o and 18 y/o. Maybe we can meet at "Troy's" at 1900 on Sunday the 1st? It's a restaurant with a bar in "Texas Live." Might allow for folks with younglings unde...

I read it last night and to be honest I was quite impressed. Get NOLA.COM app and you can read pretty much everything. The thing that impressed me the most was that he was going to take the job, but he wanted to wait a week before announcing it because he was dedicated to this team, these players an...

Don't forget to add a few guys with kegs (probably 1/4 kegs) of beer on their backs, filling up beer cups in the stands. I want to say it was Schlitz, but more likely it was Dixie.

I realize this is perhaps crazy and crazy expensive and may not be possible engineering wise, however, it was a thought this morning before I had finished my cup (pot) of coffee: If money were not an option and I accepted the fact that Tulane is currently land-locked, I would tear down Turchin/Greer...

It’s not September but point noted. Tulane must be only home team in America that places it’s team bench on the sun side of the field. Alternatively this may be best tailgating ever exceeding that Army game in the City Park Oaks. I still remember Leon C working the tents that day looking for DA vot...

I mentioned your plans to my dad, who graduated in 1965 and played football and ran track. He does remember the rifle range but could not place where it was located. He suggested that you might want to contact the Sugar Bowl committee. They may have kept some original photos, plans, etc... that migh...
