Hunter says team was unlucky with injuries and in effect worn out by China trip James says it was too many streaks of bad playing. Zip from Hunter about his system. Why change? Tulane will be real “good” next season. No surprise. Let’s hope Sumrall hits it big. https://www.nola.com/sports/tulane/wh...

Time to teach him a little Spanish- Se Va, Se Va, Se Fue!
Stackhouse got released yesterday from Vandy; had several post-season visits. We have had NONE with Hunter. When I have watched games on TV, it showed him sitting back and watching, did not seem very engaged too many times. Time to go.

Re: MBB 73 FAU 79
Sounds like growing grumbling of the players and fans thinking Hunter is verbally abusive to the players. Sounds like decent enough justification to let him go. Fingers crossed .... players no longer believing in the system and not seeing the results they expected. Sounds familiar, and believable. ...

Re: My thoughts
When I watched games on TV earlier this year and I was impressed about how little our "coach" seemed to do on the sideline. Of course, since he does not make any changes in the players he doesn't need to speak with anyone. My practice partner's husband is a HS coach in our area; he is incr...

https://crescentcitysports.com/tulane-needs-new-basketball-arena-to-climb-college-hoops-ladder/ I hate giving him the clicks as he's insufferable, but this is the epitome of Ed's senseless rambling. His point is we need a new arena and then proceeds to point out how Clark had great success with sam...

at one point we were up a couple of points. A bunch of fresh legs came on the court for SMU, and within a few minutes we were down by 7. Fatigue results in decreased accuracy; this team has good players according to the "experts," the lack of use of other players is bush league. The pics o...

We appear to have offered a 2024 kicker. His name is Zach Marini and he’s from Washington state, not Washington State. We need a kicker. Perhaps more interesting than just the offer is that the kid tweeted it and referred to Tulane as "one of his dream schools". Barring relatives with Tul...

I am currently wearing a T-shirt given to me by my mother-in-law that reads "Keep talking, I am still trying to diagnose you." I think the terms "schizophrenic could fit this team. I wish there was a way to discern which team is showing up before the game- the one capable of beating a...

I just had lunch with a rep who is going to NOLA for a meeting in 3 weeks; I mentioned that if one were to ask 10 locals to give a list of their favorite restaurants they would end up with about 50 or so restaurants to choose from. He used to go to Keeneland in Kentucky; I mentioned that that the Fa...

When your players don't get any time to catch their breath they will find it hard to consistently leap for the rebounds. Watching the games sort of reminds me of the movie "Breaking away;" three of the four riders on the Cutters" team sat on the sidelines watching their best, until he...

They are missing all but one of the defensive line. There was a list of 12 players not playing; half due to injuries, the other half listed as "NFL draft." The number of players who are not playing in the bowl games that are not the playoff games seems to be exceedingly high; it does not t...

Re: Grading The Military Bowl (events)
The announcers mentioned that this was the third-highest attendance for this bowl ever; perhaps they did not expect the crowd that they had, although I would imagine that Va Tech selling out their allotment in the first day should have tipped them off that they needed to increase their concessions n...

I listened to it while driving from Orlando to Alabama; no mention whatsoever of J. Sumrall, referred to Nagle as the "interim coach." They commented that the refs missed a false start on Va Tech; if they miss one of the most obvious and blatant infractions, I can only imagine all the othe...

Dating myself a bit I remember the weather at the 1979 Liberty Bowl against Penn State. It was a cold drizzle day throughout the game.
