Re: Temple 65-57

It’s strange but because of the defense, Tulane is almost never out of a game. However with its current offense, it’s too often never in the game. Bingo. Watching today's game it was apparent even when we squeezed Temple's lead toward the end there was no chance of scoring enough to win. How many s...

Re: COVID vaccine update

My observations from four different families we know who have gotten COVID-19. - The men seemed to experience much worse symptoms than the women, although it seems like the women lost their sense of smell and taste more markedly and it lasted for weeks to months. Brain fog for the women more so, whi...

Re: COVID vaccine update

My medical assistant has tons of trepidation about the second shot, as she has heard horror studies about side effects being a lot worse with the second dose; she has ordered me to let her know tomorrow how I have done. I am trying to think of some clever side effects to enhance the consternation s...

Far be it from me to complain about a threadjack, but the purpose of this thread was to talk about Covid 19. I just wanted to report that today that my wife and I got the Moderna vaccine shot in Ft. He's got a great frame. He's probably more in the Sample mold than the Johnson mold. I bet the staff are thinking of him being well over 250 by his second year. The question with him is why us? We're a good choice but he had 17 reported P5 offers. One of those, Penn St, I'd call a drop everything a...

RRod to ULM (yes, that ULM) as OC. What's the word here? Toxic...... I'm obviously being ironic but still. ULM is not even a Top 100 OC job. Plus its pay scale is rock bottom. I'd appreciate any insights about this or even SWAGs. This is one I would not have guessed even after ten hurricanes at Pat...

What you described is why I did not let my kids play basketball this year; no matter how well our school does to keep kids safe, they still have to play other schools and you have no idea what those people are doing. It only takes one person. That is EXACTLY what happened with my daughter's family ...

I'm told you never knew pain until you were carrying an open box of FORTRAN punch cards over to the Computer Center on campus back in the day expecting to make a run until a trip and fall ruins your weekend. Eagles fire Doug Pederson 3 years after SB win

Terrible season? Yes. Devastating injuries? Yes. Matador OL? Assuredly. QB honeymoon over? You betcha.

It's a tough business I know but I think owner Jeffrey Lurie was premature here. The Big Cheeseburger, Andy Reid, is probably enjoying this one.
