Re: Partying May Lead to Expulsion

If - IF - students actually are back on campus this fall and attempting to do some version of in-person college, this will become a very hot button news topic. It's already been seen that many (most?) college-age people don't give a F about masking, distancing, etc. All the old folks are gonna play...

Re: Sports 1280

I'm old (well, not for this board, but in general), but I really like having the broadcasts on radio, especially for pre- and post-game as we go to and from the stadium. And, yes, I know you can stream such things, but again, old and don't wanna. I probably have a couple of years on you, but once I...

Re: watching Tulane sports in Europe

Short answer is you cannot just take your iPad or laptop from the US and use your ESPN app to stream contact overseas. I tried in the past and learned that anytime ESPN detects you are not using a US IP address it will block it. There are however workarounds involving using a VPN which I never bothe...

Ask Roller about the last time this happened in the 1860's.
Shall we ask whether Roller voted for Lincoln?

Just gave a bit to Green Wave Athletics where it lists the number of donors to athletics and the recent contributors. As of now i was the 267th contributor and I gave right after Kim Lewis. Cool. Little late to the party..... Better late than not all. Forty-two years of contributions seldom marred ...

Interesting point re: Navy. Also, agree to disagree on virus timetable. I'm almost positive it will go away when it gets hot. Based on? Serious question. Answers based in science, please. That IS a head scratcher. Still waiting to see what the high school, NCAA, and NFL football officials associations are going to do: it will be difficult to blow a play dead while wearing a cloth facemask if it comes to that.

Doesnt mean you cannot get sick, but you get less sick. Older people dont have it. I think only people born after 1970 or something have gotten it Old military veterans like me (DOB 1956) got about every vaccine known to man whether we wanted to or not upon enlisted induction or officer commissioni...

Re: College football teams who have players test positive for COVID-19

LSU has a buttload of players test positive. https://apple.news/AFVXXGAWfRwiAjYwDvTmUwA I am shocked. Not because there are a lot of players on a team, any team, testing positive, but that they are admitting it. My guess is that they figure if they admit to the big numbers in June well before the fi...
