Spears, Carroll, Celestine (incoming Freshman), Brumfield (Utah transfer) and YG Booker who still has some potential. Strong RB room. Spears can be an NFL player. Looks good to me

Re: Stephon Huderson is moving on
Willie Langham is now also putting in for a transfer. That is a blow to our secondary depth even if Langham hasn't developed like say Thakarius Keyes. Transfers and incoming freshman will replace these guys and do a great job. Our RB room is strong. Decisions like these are often made after a meeti...

HUGE! 3 Star OLB Keith Cooper Commits
3 Star OLB Keith Cooper out of Houston announced his commitment on Twitter. Holds offers from Ole Miss, Penn State, UCLA among others. One of the best commitments in the past few years. Has a lot of potential. His announcement: https://twitter.com/KeithCo2021/status/1349465708879613955 247 profile: ...

Re: Possible transfer WR
Looks like Tulane is getting Tyler Lamm, ex-Holy Cross HS, grad transfer from ULM Warhawks. He is 6-5, 245 pounds and has averaged 10 catches per year over past two seasons. Not the greatest statistics. Had good size though which we are lacking. We have solid TE’s in James and Will Wallace but I gu...

Re: Top-15 team
Do you think Chip Long would take a job with a tougher schedule than last year and expect to lose the way people are suggesting on this forum? Doesn’t really make much sense does it. There’s a lot of talent. No I don’t think Oklahoma will be terrified of Cam Carrol but they might be concerned about ...

Re: Top-15 team
Agree that competing for AAC championship is probably a useful benchmark to demonstrate improvement. Wave has done that once (?) since 1998 when Tulane bombed in late season game at UH several years ago under Fritz. By that standard we've competed for a conference championship twice, considering CC...

Re: Your disappointing final: Nevada 38 Tulane 27
There was a lot to not like. I actually liked some things. I liked Anderson and Hodges. They'll need a good off-season and I think they'll get it. The play calling was off kilter. The emphasis on running in the second half should have been maintained. Might have given us a shot later. It was his fi...

Re: WR’s - Please Apply
Deuce Watts is our best receiver and didn’t play. Tulane is getting a high 3 star WR at 6ft 2 out of Miami FL. The TE’s look solid. Will Wallace looks great and will continue to develop under Coach Long (former tight ends coach I believe). Probably need one more big guy but that should be easy with ...

Re: Men’s Basketball
Will we win any games in conference? Is there a noticeable difference from year 1 to year 2? Why isn’t Pope a starter. He can rebound and score a little. When I look at the box score, we have zero offense by our bigs. Why isn’t Coleman playing more? Isn’t he a good offensive player? Should I just l...

Re: Your disappointing final: Nevada 38 Tulane 27
We missed a ton of players, including our 2 best players on defense and key players on the O line. Deuce Watts is the best receiver on the team and he didn’t play. 2 new coordinators, extremely cold and windy weather and multiple deaths in the same week. This was a solid performance under the circum...

Re: Tulane opens as 3.5pt favorite
No doubt Tulane's missing players, new coaches and playing in the Rockies in winter matter here but this line movement to Nevada is all about the home fans betting on the home team. When the sports books open at Harrah's (soon to be Caesar's?) on Poydras, we'll see Tulane get some respect from the ...

As I've said before you don't go from a three year successful run as the OC at ND to being an analyst and then the OC at Tulane. If not for his friendship with Hall he may have been stuck in the analyst role for even longer. He clearly didn't have any high level offers. It's worked out for us which...

I don't think Daniels has the speed we want for RB. He looks promising at TE. You guys keep neglecting to talk about Iverson Celestine. Local Nola recruit with a very promising recruiting profile. I don't think there's any reason to panic.

Re: new transfer rule and filling spot on MBB
Quinones likes to referee the game as well as play in it; chatty little Kathy isn't he? at least he cut off that ridiculous rat tail he had last year... can't see a guy successfully jawing at the other team with hair like that Quinones should win the AAC loser of the year award. Can't stand the guy.

Re: MBB vs Memphis Time Changed (now 8 PM central)
Lose by 6. A lot of smack talking from Memphis. I think we are improved but moral victories are getting old. A lot trash talking. I hate Memphis. I think we’ll beat them next time. Hunter has this team playing much better and with a lot more confidence. We were close to an upset in the final minute...
