Re: What, nothing about Saints loss to TB/Brady?

The Saints missed Hill and Murray in the redzone/goal-to-go situations but more than them, missed Kwon Alexander on defense. Fournette doesn’t have that game if Anzalone isn’t in there. This is true. The Saints D played well enough to win, but they were at their peak with Kwon in there, and definit...

Re: What, nothing about Saints loss to TB/Brady?

Brees has not been good in the playoffs the past three years. The Saints defense was very good. Not having Taysom and Latavius Murray really hurt. And then having Deonte Harris get knocked out just piled it on.

I wonder what Sean Payton is going to do.

Re: Devin Brumfield tweets he is coming to Tulane

I see this very good news as a sign that Coach Fritz is excellent for Tulane. Under his leadership, the perception of Tulane football is gradually evolving to the positive. That means better players will consider coming to play for us. And we'll win more games. I hope Brumfield runs for 150 yards ag...

I've been on two airplane rides since COVID started: to New Orleans in August, and to Arizona 10 days ago. Re: 2020 AAC Bowl Schedule/Discussion/Scores

Cincy blew the game with terrible clock management at the end. They're in obvious clock-burn situation at the end, with the ball, and they snapped it on first and second downs with 10 seconds left. That gave UGA 12 more seconds. Then the stupid 3rd down pass play probably gave UGA 30 more seconds. W...

Re: National Signing Day Thread

I thought LSU had this self imposed ban reducing football scholarships by 4 each year for the next two years. It looks like they may sign 25-27 kids this year. What a joke. The can't sign 27. No one can. But they could and the NCAA would look the other way. 8) If LSU did that, the NCAA would put Cl...

I have watched a bunch. It depends on what Wolf Pack team shows up and if they can stay up for 60 minutes (which we can relate to). Do you live in Reno? Avoiding California income taxes? I do not currently live in Northern Nevada but I work very frequently in the Reno\Carson City\Lake Tahoe area an...

Re: Anyone actually want to talk Memphis?

Memphis looked like they were going through the motions and just ready to get the season over with. Our players are talking like this is a playoff game and a must win if they want to play in a bowl game. I find this attitude by some teams to be amazing. You work off-season for months in the weight ...

Re: Still one-dimensional.

This is the most balanced offense we’ve had in years. Tulsa’s experienced defense put pressure on our young line and QB. We scored 30+ in 7 straight without Pratt having to throw for 250yds. We aren’t going to abandon the run just because we have decent passing game now. As ‘mania said above, WR is...

How many good teams has Tulane put on the gridiron in the last 50 years? Six or seven? Maybe 10? That's a lot of bad history for Willie Fritz is working to change. And history does matter. I am really disappointed in last night's loss, but I am not disappointed in the slightest with the program and ...

Re: Tulsa #25 in nation, 4.5 point fave over Tulane

4.5 points sounds about right. Tulsa gets 3 for being at home, plus they had a nice win on Saturday. Also remember that they are really a 3-2 football team, thanks to the referees in their ECU game. ECU is a team we fairly easily handled.

This one could go either way. It will go Tulane's way.
