Re: Tulane in the Baton Rouge Regional

Just looking at this thread, only 15 people have commented on the regional this weekend. Far cry from the old days. Hopefully interest picks up as the weekend approaches. I haven’t gone to a game in probably 5 years, watched a few on the internet. The overall play has been so bad I’ve just lost int...

Re: Wave lose 11-5

As long as YOGWF has been up and running, the overall lack of interest in baseball is at an all time high. Three to four people on the scoreboard. Little interest on the main board. It is sad and at the same time understandable. How can anyone f*** this up so much. There were so many options. Just ...

Re: Building on the momentum - Facility upgrades

https://youtu.be/NLi3pdfstQ8 Check out Navy's $28 million football facility opened last year. Again, it is light years ahead of what Tulane has. What can be done for $30 million would be a game changer for Tulane Football. $30 million for a school with many billions in endowment and billionaire alu...

Out of curiosity I pulled up Stubhub just now and could get tickets in Club section 335 (between the 40-50) for $107 each.

No real bad seats at Jerry World. Loge level is the way to go but even the uppers aren’t bad; that huge video board helps.

6-4 Claudelle Harris, Jr. is a promising SG.

Kid is from right here in Hahnville, grew up down the street from me. He was a very good shooter in high school and it looks like he had a pretty decent freshman year at CS.

I really like Drew Timme's game (except the constant mugging of blowing kisses to the crowd after dunks). Second coming of Larry Bird? I don't know if he's quick enough or bulky enough to succeed in the NBA but he's sure fun to watch in college. Dude was scared to death of Jonathan last night. Timm...

Baylor and Gonzaga were much better than everyone all year it’s fitting they will meet in the finals. This game is like a scrimmage for the Bears.

Agree with that. Heck, Olthoff alone should be starting to draw crowds, we haven't seen a Friday starter like him in a long time (if he keeps it up, we might start talking "ever"). Put him up against another undefeated starter and the fans should show up. Hopefully the weather is good. Is...

Adonis Friloux, the DT from Hahnville who was committed to Houston flips to the Wave according to Ed Daniels. Offers from UH, Ole Miss, Memphis, among others. I'll move this to the recruiting board in a day or two. Kid has good size, speed, and strength; plenty of upside. Glad to see another Tiger ...

I think Hunter should do less talking and more coaching and recruiting. Obviously. We have 1 soph, 3/4 fresh and 5 transfers that weren’t good enough to start on their former teams. I’m not going to judge Hunter on his first season but after a a couple seasons, if we haven’t improved the talent he ...

U Conn is beatable, this is not one of Geno's better teams. I watched Baylor run over them up there, they don't have much size and didn't look like typical U Conn.

Re: New hats for a Baseball

Is it still "a thing" to have kitschy baseball caps? I remember it was back in the 90s when so many minor-league teams started selling boatloads of hats because of the unique, humorous, and/or silly mascots/logos. I'm old and out of touch now, so is that still popular? Seems like moving S...
