Oh, the possibilities.

I've seen that commercial. Needs a catchy jingle, something like "The Buddy system" comes to mind.

I spent nearly all of the Teevens era in diapers, so other than looking at record books I'm immune to the psychological pain associated with it, but man, I really like that song. Can we get a revival version for Buddy Hield (also possibly singing optimistically about someone ultimately doomed by his support in New Orleans)?

The story of the robots at Dartmouth has been viral on Facebook for several months. I keep seeing it on my wall. However, knowing that Buddy is their coach and that the robots haven't exactly gotten them to the top of the football world, I still haven't clicked the link and read it.

The same pain felt through the Scelfo era, and the Toledo era, and the Johnson era, and the ......

Listening to an older episode of Star Talk with Neil Degrasse Tyson all about the science surrounding football and technology being used to make the game better and safer. Teevens is one of the guests talking about his tackling dummies. "... Can't beat the system..."

Looks like Buddy won an Ivy League championship in 2015 (his first since the pair he won before he was at Tulane), but Dartmouth dropped to 4-6 last year.

I've been hearing about the Neville song for over a decade, but I can't find it on the internet anyway. Anyone know where it can be found?

There's a Tulane football centennial video that someone put up on YouTube (type in Tulane football centennial, it's the first thing that comes up), and if you go to about the 52 minute mark, the whole commercial is there. Be warned, it's an earworm.

Wow. Just played it and my wife knew all the words from childhood. She'd forgotten the song completely when I told her about it. I played it and within seconds she was singing along. Good grief.

If Buddy had succeeded, that would have become legendary. Instead, it became infamous.
