Nat Dorsey - TU Football and Track alum

Unread post by Johnny Mac »

Like an old Jewish man, I always check the back of the Tulane Magazine for the obituaries to see if anybody I knew has passed.. I noticed the obit for former Tulane football player Nat Dorsey... he apparently passed in March. I'm surprised nobody posted it on here when it happened... or if they did, I cannot find it now anywhere.

My buddy ran on the track team and Nat was a shotputter. He said he was a really nice guy. RIP.

I also check the obits and I'm not Jewish. 8) Many years ago I learned that an old love interest of a Tulane buddy had passed even before he knew.

Really sad new. I played against Nat in high school and get to know him a little at Tulane. Really nice guy. He had a son who played at Ga. tech and in the NFL for the Vikings.
