under their new head coach Andy Stankiewicz, who whipped up on T. Jewett's Tulane club in 2021 (Wave lost 2 of 3) when Stankiewicz was head man at Grand Canyon U. USC was 8-22 in Pac-12 last season.

He's one of those coaches who can be a great assistant (and recruiter) but shouldn't ever be the man in charge.

Alligreta recounted that connection at least 8 times during a 3 game series.

FWIW Greer-Turchin is a better current facility than Dedeaux Field at USC.

But not for too much longer. In 2028 Los Angeles Olympics Dedeaux will be “temporarily “ converted into the Olympics Aquatic venue.

So unless something changes on Tulane campus, the USC baseball swimming facility will be better than both Greer-Turchin and Riley.

No this is not an Onion reposting.

PS, Maybe those satirical postings from some years ago about adding a pool to Yulman just showed foresight.

The inspiration from Trojan land is simply make Yulman dual purpose and cashier the Riley pool.

It won’t get us a B1G invite but it will be the facilities improvement alums across America will value.

Wow. I would think a prior HC would rate higher than a 5.

They rate his hiring as the 5th best in the nation.

Duh, that's why I said I thought he'd be rated even higher. How many head coaches at a major school wind up as assistants at another major school? (Too lazy to look it up) I'd think top 3 at least.
