JP Pitches a Gem Today

Unread post by tjtlja »

JP France threw a 7 inning, two hitter against Oklahoma today as MSU heads to the super's. So happy for him and his family. Great kid and hopefully he gets another start this weekend.

We could have really used him this year.

only interesting part of that game to me was that I read OU didn't play Murray who was selected #7 overall. curious to see what he does next year.

As for France, we could have used him, would have pushed everyone one back one slot, but i think our bullpen problems were too much to overcome.

Not pitching very well against Vandy. Cannot find plate and has given up five runs. Tied 7-7 in the fifth.

JP and the Dogs are headed to Omaha! Thrilled for JP, I've known him since he was 7 or 8. Great kid and family, he made a good move going to State for his grad year and getting a shot to play on the biggest stage in college baseball....Omaha!

JP and Jake both make it to OMAHA. THAT IS GREAT NEWS! :-D

U know who I'll be pulling for. :-)

Just think, all of this happened after what all happened at the beginning of the year. That's great.

GO STATE!

What a sensational game combined with Fullerton and Washington. Kept me up past midnight. As good as it gets in college baseball.

Double D, with not throwing last night, is JP hurt? As many pitches as he threw in Tallahassee and throwing at Vandy on three days rest, I just wanted to verify nothing was wrong.

Nothing wrong, just was very ineffective in the first game.

JP pitched a 1-2-3 8th in the first game at the CWS. Looked real good, first two fastballs hit 95

The adrenaline was really pumping. 95 is bringing it. Big game against North Carolina which upset Oregon State.

I have heard he had a shoulder issue that kept him out. He pitched a lot of innings at Florida State and I think they overused him a bit. He had an unusually bad outing at Vandy and the one good inning at the CWS. Hope he gets well soon as he prepares for pro ball.
