He is technically a current player until he signs (unless he's hired an agent).

his bonus slot calls for $460,000 at no. 120; no other Tulane players or recruits for next year drafted so far.

It is so silly how a current player is moved to a former players board. People actually monitor this.

Nevertheless, congratulations Grant. Well deserved and good luck to you and your family.

Rays will be paying (way?) over slot for their #1 pick...hopefully they find that extra money elsewhere.

Baseball players don't have agents, they have "advisors" so that won't stop him from coming back, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Of all the players drafted in the first 10 rounds last year I believe only 3 didn’t sign. So if you get drafted today or yesterday you are signing.

That works both ways. I mean, he could play like next year in Tampa. A guy I played with in high school had signed with LSU but was drafted by Tampa with like pick 1000. Two years later he was in the majors at 20!

Yeah. That’s why I said what I did. His whole name hadn’t made it across the scroll to announce it and his thread was moved. Having a current player drafted in a current ongoing draft is something you want on the main board for everyone to see.

Had the topic been jacked to food or uniform combos it would still be there 15 pages later :?

there is still a link on the main board... unbundle your panties... and yes, it is very well deserved.. but he's gone, man. You above all people should know with your inside pipeline to team information... what could possibly entice him back to the current shiat show in Turchin?
