Unfortunately, just got beat by Kenny Stills on a flea flicker. Also, was beat by TE for TD on the next play. Got to be nervous.

Was it actually a flea flicker? Or just a HB pass?

Watson gave it to the RB who pitched it back to Watson. Roderic got caught looking in the backfield.

So during player introductions, everybody on both teams declare who they are and where they played college ball except for one guy.

Guess who offered their hometown rather than their alma mater.

my buddy texted his contact in the AD office to see if Rod has a beef with Tulane... kind of a slap in the face of his former teammates and coaches

He's been retweeting Tulane stuff. He got the care package from the equipment staff and thanked them.

I met his family at OU game. Very nice folks who seemed to really like Tulane and Fritz. I assume there is another part of this story we are not aware of. I'm treating this as a one off. But if he has a beef against Tulane so be it.

Maybe all his friends from back home pressured him to represent the town? Maybe he lost a bet with one of them and the bet was that he had to rep his hometown? Who knows.

announcers had nice things to say about him in bears game. he did get a horse collar in red zone, but bears did not take advantage.
