Saw a stat the other day that said Mooney was the best of all rookies at making defenders miss. Seems like a lot of Bears fans really like him and feel like he would have exploded on the scene with a better QB. He supposedly had 1 drop all season.

I fear that he won't get the positive press he deserves because he is not considered a "marquis" player, sort of like a certain running back there who did a true yeoman's job there, but took a back seat to the quarterback whose name was a lot greater than his performance in my opinion.

Possible broken bone in his foot. His career may be over.

At least this thread jack doesn't involve food, uniforms, juju threads, leaving the sec, conference realignment, coordinators, Rick Dickson, or not hiring rich rod but it is only Monday

To be clear, this is a (possibly hyperbolic) reference to Henry, not Mooney or Hilliard.

Yes, Henry. Difficult to come back from a broken bone in the foot.

Mooney had 2 TDs last night. A 15yd run early in the game and a go ahead catch with 1:45 left. Pittsburgh kicked a FG and Cairo Santos attempted a 66 yd FG as time expired.

I feel for Santos as he had the longest active streak of 40 straight FGs made and needed 2 or 3 more to break the all time record and it ended on a desperation try.

Mooney had 125 yds on 5 catches today plus a couple runs. He’s been good for fantasy football points the past few games.

I can't believe he has not been mentioned in the past 12 months; he got some nice comments today in the Tennessee-Miami game, and they even mentioned his alma mater!

The post right above yours is from Thanksgiving 2021...

But even if you meant 2 months, it's almost gotten to the point where he's such a well-known success that we can't keep mentioning him every single week. Just like Forte before him, he's become an established NFL starter and therefore almost can't be discussed continually.
