Terry Fontenot new Falcons GM

Post by long green »

Former Tulane safety Terry Fontenot is the new GM of an NFL team. He had been the pro personnel guy for the Saints. That's a pretty big deal, and great for Terry. Interestingly, Terry's move up could pave the way for his replacement in the Saints' front office by Mike Parenton.

The gap between the top of the big leagues and their bottom is now bigger than the gap between their bottom and us - P.R. told me to do this

Interesting. Tulane, with its sports marketing program, can turn out some GMs. Wish we could do a more thorough job with players.

Congrats, Terry, and much success!

Sick that we're losing him, more sick that he's going to the Falcons, and have to be on record that I hope he fails.

That said, congratulations to him and would be proud of HIM if he does succeed. Worst of luck to him now, best of luck to him for the long term.
