Tulane players with SB rings:

Murray
McGee (2)
King
Moore
Bankston
Harvey (?)

I know there are more. Help me out. McGee still the only one who scored a TD--on a hangover no less (how Tulane is that?!). Murray the only other who has scored.

Plenty on the losing teams: Holman, Washington, Foley, Bengals' CB whose name I cannot remember, Laakso, Smart.

Lorenzo Doss and Taurean Nixon both got rings with the Broncos as rookies in the 2016 Super Bowl.

Eric Thomas. All-Pro CB for the Bengals in 1988 (Super Bowl in Jan 1989). Sadly blew out his knee playing in a charity basketball game shortly after that and never was the same again...

Caught the first ever TD pass in a Super Bowl.

Completely forgot Eddie played for Cowboys in '93 SB.

So he had 12 points

McGee 6

Who has the other Tulane-scored 6 points in SB?

We were we listed with 24, more than LSU and Bama! (They don't count QB TD passes).

I can't find an official active roster for either, but there are tons of articles about which colleges have players in this super bowl. Tulane is listed as having 2 in every one of those I've read.

Inactives won't come out til later today. Good chance neither are on active roster, actually (they both were inactive 2 weeks ago)

Now that you mention it, I think I knew that about Keyes. It looks like the Bucs have 4 qbs on the roster as well so you're probably right. They'd still get a ring as contributors right?

Those two are mostly represented by defensive players throughout the years.

Even though both were inactive tonight, they should collect all player bonuses and rings. I think winner's share is like $225,000 for making it all the way through playoffs Loser's is about $175,000 or so. This compensation comes from the league so if their individual contracts have similar incentives, they will earn those too.

I'm basing the amounts on memory so if someone has more exact figures, please finetune these estimates.

I'm really happy for Ryan Griffin. He was QB for most of my time at Tulane and he was a really nice guy. The one time I saw him out in the evening, he was very nice and happy to talk to me about the team. It's great he has stuck around in the league for as long as he has despite only getting the chance to play in a couple of games. I know he will enjoy this accomplishment!

Fun fact: Ryan Griffin has been with the Bucs longer than any other QB on the roster. Also, there's a video of a very tipsy looking Brady after the boat parade today being assisted while trying to walk by someone that looks like RG. #goatherder
