New local PWO offer

Post by long green »

Jesuit QB Jack Larriviere just tweeted that he's received a PWO offer from Tulane. He had a great senior year for Jesuit. I hope he takes us up on it.

He did have a good senior year. I got to see him play Brother Martin in the playoffs. Good arm. He can run. Good size. He'd be a nice add as PWO.
We deserve so much better

Here's a neat tidbit...when Larriviere tweeted out his receipt of the PWO offer, he said it came during a phone call from Fritz and Derrick Sherman.

another walk on from Jesuit is Luke Besh the WR who was nearly unstoppable during his Sr year in '20 - all state, metro and district. With all the troubles we had with drops last year you would think he would have been thrown a ball or two.

Maybe him being on the team could lead to some improved concessions at Yulman.

My comment was going to be that maybe he's been told he won't see the field unless dad agrees to work gamedays in the kitchen for the Glazer Suite. 8)

I guess we will see his priorities. Prob tough to turn down FL but have to imagine a better chance of actually playing or seeing field here.

And if you're not going to see the field either way, one degree is rather more valuable than the other....

True, but Florida is a pretty good state school and being on the team there has to be an experience.

And if he’s paying his own way, the tuition costs could become a factor.

He's a very smart kid. He may value a chance at Tulane. I know he looked into Ivy possibilities. May even have opportunities for other scholarships here plus Tops.

Larriviere just set a LA high school record in the javelin. Shout out to TU23 who posted this on Twitter.

Never mind, Bradshaw's record was broken in 1982 by Shawn Burks
