Here's a link to watch AJ Lawson, hoops recruit, vs. America
at 7:15 pm Saturday night Canada plays USA in FIBA Under 18 championship game.
AJ Lawson, who plans a visit to Tulane, is playing in this hoops game. He is averaging about 16 pts per game, I believe, so far in the tourney.

What are our chances? Does he have a favorite?

It might really help if Melvin Frazier gets drafted in Round 1.

Since he reclassified to 2018, he can sign now it seems.

He can sign now; other visits are S. Carolina (Lawson already went there); Creighton, Tulane this week; SMU and Oregon next week.

Would have been nice to have been last. The last visit always had an advantage.
Re: Here's a link to watch AJ Lawson, hoops recruit, vs. Ame
Maybe we will be the last one.
We deserve so much better

How is the weather this week? New Orleans weather in June is not typcially good for recruiting. Oregon will be tough to beat if they really want him. Final Four 2 years ago and one of the top classes in he country coming in.

Lawson decision coming soon, down to 3 S. Carolina, Creighton and Tulane. So, Tulane did get Mr. Lawson's last visit. SMU and Oregon are out of the picture.

Saw a tweet last night saying decision coming tomorrow. I assume that means today. We really could use this kid.

I can’t stand this reality show crap by recruits. Just tweet where you are going when you make up your mind and thank everybody and get to work. You aren’t the next Michael Jordan. Planned times, Canadian basketball websites and keeping people guessing is juvenile.
Plus Creighton and Tulane holding a spot for this kid has now cost both schools a few weeks where they could have snagged a grad transfer.

Heading to Ole State U in South Carolina - what a thrill.
Yeah, tens of thousands of kids go off to 'ESU's' every year and that's great. But when a kid has a chance for a free ride at a school, maybe smaller, but academically challenging - a real mind expanding opportunity - I just don't get it. I do, but ….
