Official National Letter of Intent Contest

Same deal as last year, pick which player is the first to have their LOI received by the coaching staff.

I'm currently undecided at this point, have to think harder than last year due to finishing next to last

Funderburk

2 reasons:

1) EST means he should up earlier
2) I just wanted to here myself say the name as I typed it and read it.

I will go with Sean Donnelly; he has a hungry look in his eyes, is on the east coast, and no one pushes around a New Yorker and gets away with it.
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

after crunching some numbers for the last three signing day results and looking at the first 5 to get their LOI by position and state I've come to the following conclusion:

Out of those 15: seven were offense, seven were defense, and one was special teams

Out of the states of those 15: 2 from AL, 3 from FL, 5 from GA, 2 from LA, and 3 from TX

which is why I am selecting Zachary Davis, LB, GA

the first player to send his NLI this morning may quickly become a fan favorite in the Big Easy.

Orleans Darkwa, a 5-11, 200-pound running back from Nashville, Tenn., where he prepped at The Ensworth School and was a three-star prospect by ESPN.com and Rivals.com.

Is that such a strange name? Reminds me of Lawrence Funderburke, the All-American high school basketball player in the late 80s/early 90s who played at both Ohio State and Indiana and never really panned out....

Let's hope ours "pans out".
