Signing day event question

Post by bigmoneytx »

Is anyone going? What is the feeling out there?

I was talking with someone today and they expressed concern about having folks show up tomorrow night. Last year was a pretty darn good turnout but this year the mood seems(it is) very different. Between last years FB season, this years MBB season and the void feeling out with no announcement -- there seems to be less buzz. I know MBB is not FB but all these sports can create good vibes for one another (as a department) or really leave a bad taste...

So that is some of the conversation and concern that was talked about. I do know that the coaches would really appreciate a nice turnout for this event - get some buzz going, some good vibes and show support for the program.

I'm planning to attend. But I have never seen enthusiasm so low.

If I could get there, I would be there. My New Orleans, Louisiana and Gulf Coast brethren sometimes don't understand how good they have it being able to attend these events.

Everyone enjoy this day as these young men officially sign to become Tulane Greenies.

The future is theirs and ours....

The Saints coverage has been drowning out recruiting news, even up river.

But also, with things like the "live blog" being dead this morning, Tulane isn't exactly firing folks up.

It's hard to believe it has been five years since we attended the signing day event with your wife about to go into labor any minute. I believe you were going home to bring her to the hospital to have her induced.

I have been ill this week but planned on being at the party. But it looks like that won't happen. This will be the first party I've missed in over 30 years.

I was glad they gave out DVD's of the video they showed during the party.
