I am sure Jimmy will also aid in his recruiting. The fact the kid went to LSU after committing to us is hard to swallow. How committed are you when you are visiting other schools?

Really? That's the position you're going to take? :dots:

Do you know this for a fact? Did he pay for the camp?

You're not going to let this go are you? I went to camps of schools that I had no intention of going to. . . .you know why? Because you learn things and your friends are doing it. Hey Zeus you're dense.

Um, his post thanking TU23 for clearing things up for him is almost 24 hours old. He admitted his loss of density yesterday.

For Windy, it isn't about winning, it's about doing a dance on the grave of his adversary

No he won't. We are living in the time of the Free Fire Zone for cheaters. Thank you, Mark Emmert. Orgeron would have to kill someone's mom on live television to get in trouble and even than he'd have local media taking up for him.

Long Green - You're a trip! but you're right, they would just slap them on the wrist.

LSU landed a commitment today from Andre Anthony, a DE from Karr, who is very similar to Sci Martin. Similar size and build and they do the same kinds of things. They might be willing to take both, but I think this improves our chances.

That's always good to see. Kids that aren't even signed yet taking ownership in the program. Local kids will start building the roster for us just by wanting to play with other players in the area.

Yeah, how true that is. It can be maintained in the years ahead also.

It is encouraging to see him continuing to bond with the other committed players to the 2016 class but it's a long way to February. LSU's offering him is a good indicator of what other good programs could see in him. As far as they are concerned, watch Jimmy Smith. If he doesn't commit there I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk back LSU's offer for them. It's not enough that they sign other good or very good players at his position; it has be "official" that no in-state player turns them down.

There have been many in-state players that signed with out of state teams. LsU prides itself in no players they wanted signed with in state schools!

Well they clearly want(ed) Sci, my feeling is that quite a few of our verbal commits this year are going to get the hard sell from the Bigger Programs once recruiting season stats to gel together

247's crystal ball predictions are 75% LSU and 25% Arizona State. And that was before that tweet.

I don't think it will be lsu. And I'm pretty sure we just replaced him with a DE with P5 offers as well.

I guess they are right. We can't recruit kids that lsu wants. There is still plenty time left.

Disappointing (very) but better in June than January. Donny Z is right, too.

Tulane Insider is tweeting that we've added Deion Rainey, the DE from Southern Lab.
Not quite Sci Martin's profile as a recruit but an impressive bounceback.

@RoyceLaFrance48: Some of these recruits need to think.

@RoyceLaFrance48: @TUJoinTheBuzzFB next 4 years instead of the hype they feed into for the next 9months

Looks like a player; Like the continued emphasis on line and defense.
