Tulane swim team alum, Hector "Tico" Calzada, has a son who looks to be a very highly recruited QB.
Has already been to Yulman.

he was brought in to camp last year by the last staff. Apparently he looked really good, too. If we succeed with Coach Fritz I don't know if we'll be running the same offense in 2019 but I bet we'll be sticking with running QB's for a while. Embrace the zone read, Zach!

The QB coming in is a 2019 recruit from St. Pius in Houston. At 6'6" I wouldn't think he be an option type quarterback. One other '19 kid is Jordan Whittington from Cuero, TX and plays at DB/WR and considered 4 stars at this time.

Any defensive player in attendance should want to play here.

Of course with Banks running Fritz's offense, offensive players are going to want to come here.

Since this is a 2019 recruit I wanted to include him here. We’ve offered QB John Rhys Pumlee from Hattiesburg. Per 247 he has offers from Tulane, MSU and USM with interest from Ole Miss. their crystal ball has him going to MSU, who according to the site, has 8 QBs on the roster with 4 committed.

Looks like Coach JJ is hard at work.

It’s nice to see us actually offering 4* kids as opposed to previous staffs that seemed to avoid them.
