It seems like most are expecting a good bit to sign in the early period. Should just be the really highly rated guys that wait it out. I think the period is three days long like the baseball and basketball periods.
We deserve so much better

The early period only last three days. I think we will sign our entire class early and if there are any surprises next semester with someone deciding to leave or being asked to leave, only then would we add another player.

Almost certainly. I thought I saw somewhere that Ed Oliver was the only 5* in the P5 age not to go to a P5 but I could be mistaken.

The way I see it is that he is a 5* punter, but a 3* recruit. If that's even possible? lg can correct me on this.

TUPF, I thought Pepper who was a PK was also a 5 Star. And a bust. Also Davenport was a 5 Star but of course he went to LSU out of high school

Stars given to kicking prospects at kicking camps are not the same thing as the not-as-ephemeral-but-still stars given out by 247 or rivals. If you don't know that post less often on this forum. I hate you all for making me enter this conversation.

I think we have.

Amare Jones tweeted a question about four new commitments from this weekend. We're halfway to that.

If we got 4 commits that puts us at 20 commits with 3 schollies left. Was told by a few we would top off at 23. Holding one for QB Scott and a PK we have one left to give next weekend.

Plus any early enrollees that count toward last year's class. There could also be other guys that leave or graduate early. I don't keep up with that aspect of it to know what football-juniors may be academic-seniors/graduates.

fearthewave tweeted this earlier tonight. I believe it's 247's rankings but I'm not positive.

Who knows what UCF does recruiting wise and I guess we'll see if all these prospects sign with Tulane.
Regardless Tulane would have to lose a bunch of them to tank this year's "announced" commitment class.

Although unproven, I do think the early period is helping Tulane.

I tend to agree that the early signing period is good for Tulane. At the very least if a kid does NOT sign then you know better where you stand with him.

Signing Jonathan Moxon would be reason for Brantley to leave
