Recruits coming for the Southern game ...

Post by sr »

Tulane going to have any recruits on their sideline Saturday night? Texas had all of theirs at the ND game Sunday night.

All of them? I don't know. Some of them? Yes.

3* DB Trey Creamer from Georgia is coming. Currently holds 25+ offers according to FTW.

A Teamer/Creamer connection.

Creamer plays as much RB as DB.

After last night he should feel good about coming here for either

Edit: Just read on Twitter that he's a running back target.

Creamer tweeted his top 5 (he lists them in this order but not necessarily an order):

Tulane
Purdue
Maryland
Minnesota
Ga Southern

Also mentions West Virginia as "still considering"

Decision coming Oct 15.

If you stack up New Orleans vs. any of the other towns, it's not a fair fight. 8)

My son and I can both attest (as can probably Windy, Ray and others) to the NOLA vs. MN during the school year/winter? No contest.

Wonder if he will check the temperature before signing his NLI. Should be about -20 with the wind chill in February.

So Creamer actually ended up at Iowa, but now he has announced he's transferring. Maybe somewhere warmer?

I'm impressed the self-serve librarian found a two year old on-point thread in the stacks to post an update to. Once these folks select other destinations, I erase them from my memory banks. It's hard enough to keep track of who's on our roster.

If Willie wants him, I'm pulling for the transfer. If not, it won't be difficult to forget him twice!

All I will note is that if he goes to another FBS school, by the time he regains eligibility in 2020, he will basically not have played competitive football (only practiced) for four years.
