He was injured in HS, signed with SD St, went JUCO and caught 34 passes for 600 yards this past year. Guerry Smith gets credit for all that. I don't know what this says about the status of Andrew Hicks but it does give us another mature option on campus for the spring with the early departures of Scott and (probably) Cooper.

Good size. Continuing a trend lately of going after bigger receivers. Suspect they are all good blockers too.

Obviously good blocking is important to Fritz, but I think the size has more to do with the tall WR that killed us this year.
