Heard Tulane baseball now has enough players to scrimmage since there are more than 32 healthy bodies. Coach is making sure everyone knows this too!

Sure he doesn't. Who actually likes to practice? Why would these young men actually want to get better!

He needs to since agenda driven fools tried to fool the fan base last year.

Glad we are scrimmaging everyday. The young men will be prepared to take on a very tough schedule.

Glad we have the arms and catchers to scrimmage everyday now the the new staff has properly recruited unlike Pierce's staff. But keep up with your lying agenda and extreme bitterness.

Who are you mad at? Tony's post was actually fairly positive. It sounds like you're talking out of both sides of your mouth. Or sarcasm is a little off?

I guess nobody told him Andy Cannizzaro was the coach at Miss St or he would have had no choice but to go there :-D

In seriousness, looks like he could be a good one for us.

I don't know what your problem is but we had enough arms and catchers to scrimmage last year. There is zero agenda. I thought Coach Jewett could have done a much better job with the talent he had and I wish Andy would have gotten the job knowing what I know. We just disagree and leave it at that.

Coach Jewett is our coach and I support him because I support Tulane athletics. I think they have some arms that will surprise and I bet Coach has grown a lot from Year 1 to Year 2. We have a murderous schedule, but one that is welcomed by our fan base. I think we will surprise some people this year.

And the latest commit looks like a very good pick-up. We beat a lot of great teams for this kid including one Miss State.

Did you mean to turn on your sarcasm button? He just continues to harp on a point that he was wrong about all last year and is continuing it here. No I'm not talking out of both sides of my mouth. We didn't scrimmage daily last year b/c of a lack of pitchers and healthy catchers. We now have the numbers we need to do so.

Wavedom, lets turn the page.

What are your thoughts about the upcoming season? Have you been able to see the new guys? If so, who has impressed you? And any early thoughts on a starting line-up at this point?

We have all turned the page. You're welcome to join us anytime.

Much too busy to get out there now. It's also much too early to draw any conclusions on individuals and the team at this point.

Looks like week 3 / 4 they have settled into a very familiar routine. Practice, or as they are calling it, “Training”, occurs on Tuesday/Thursday. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday are scrimmages 5 to 7 innings. Mondays off.

Good routine to get the guys used to midweek game, then playing 3 straight weekend days, followed by off day.. Same one previous coaches have used.

Fyi - If you go out on “training” days, the gates might be locked.

Send Megan an email and she will unlock the gate
