Biggest boom so far. Top ten in Mississippi, position of need, and so on.

Had a health scare in the summer but was cleared & made 5a All-State in MS.

I think that he's a likely starter if he signs. So is the young man from De La Salle. Assuming that all three committed DTs sign, they could be three of our top four DTs next year.

The DLS guy I think has a twin brother who is apparently being lightly recruited by others compared to him. Thinking out loud, is he type of guy you would want as a preferred walk-on if he was able to swing a non-athletic scholarship here?

that is a crazy impressive list of schools that were interested/offered. When was the last time we got a kid with a list like that?

By enrolling in January that frees-up two more scholarships for 2018 - yes.

We're not going to have enough total spots to do any counting back.

Even though it won't free up additional spots, it doesn't hurt to count back...saves us room under the 25 limit this year so we can count back next year (if applicable).

Unless he means we were at 85 this year, so we couldn't count back

Hmmm...I took it to mean we'll hit 85 before we hit 25 so we won't get any "extra" room in this class.
