Big time pick up.

FYI - before this pick up Tulane is up to the 5th highest rated class in the AAC. This obviously adds to that in a big way.

Obviously a strong transfer. Must sit out a year so unless a grad transfer PG pops up with immediate eligibility, we still need Ray O.E. to come back.

He's the Zagsblog Randymc mentions - http://www.zagsblog.com/2018/05/28/tula ... an-walker/

Walker thanks Chiles in his statement. Zags mentions Stewart with the assist. Looks like these guys are rolling together!

First off, I LOVE left-handed guards, they are tougher to guard because of their scarcity. Second, this guy looks like the create-your-own-shot scorer we so desperately need at the 1 or 2, which looks to me like he can play either. Third, this guy looks to me like he could be a cornerstone recruit, that others may come to TU because of him. Looks like a good pick-up.

Would someone explain to me what sit one, play three means? Just am not up to speed on the new vernacular.

He has to sit out this year because of the transfer, but he's got 3 years of eligibility after that.

He has to sit a year and then has three years of eligibility. Nothing tricky there.

Thanks, gerryb. Like he'll ever play 3 (if he's any good).

Fine pickup. Hit the training table and weight room to put on some AAC-needed heft and this guy could step right in.

Unfortunately this guy doesn't help us for the upcoming season. There are still lots of holes to fill and we need to win more conference games.

That is true as far as it goes but it would be very hard to name a better long-term PG prospect available at this time.

He's right handed but he handles the ball really well with his left.
