Not sure we’d be able to take him because I don’t know if he was a qualifier out of HS. People around here (OK) seem to believe his injury issues are serious.

A few mentions from Rene Nadeau of recruits considering Tulane, among others.

I see that Tennessee is trying to round up the Justice League of America.

Jesus, Rene is lazy. Kendarius Moses is going to a JUCO. Billy Sonnier is going to a JUCO. Bertrand Carroll is going to Southern. He's just regurgitating offers from Rivals and 247 on all of the other players. Terrell Brown picked Houston yesterday, so I'll give Rene that one...he couldn't have known on Saturday when the article was published.

So I guess our chances with Lance, the QB from Easton, are slim and none?

If you remember, TU23 said Legendre might have a problem qualifying.

Tennessee is out on Legendre, too. There's a reason that the only two schools pursuing him are Florida State and Maryland...they're both desperate and willing to take the risk. Maryland lost their starter to a torn ACL in the middle of November and aren't sure he's going to come back 100% healthy. Pigrome played okay for them, but they want someone who can throw the ball better than Pigrome. Kansas was willing to risk it with Pooka Williams last year, and it paid off for them. Maybe it will pay off for one of these schools, but if his reported GPA is accurate, I'd say it's an uphill battle.

Remember, there are now consequences for taking a player who doesn't qualify. You can't replace his spot in your class with someone else and you can't use the fact that he didn't qualify to count back the next year. That's why guys like Billy Sonnier and Kenarius Moses are committing to JUCOs. They know they won't qualify, and there aren't any schools willing to let them "sign" with them in case a miracle happens.

Lance Legendre to bring relentless approach to either Florida State or Maryland

two schools left, as TU23 noted, with a big lean toward FSU.

would qualify as classic "Under the Radar" recruit. We see something only USM and maybe Tenn. State see as well.

And possibly Mississippi State as well, as it was reported he visited there the last weekend. He was here the previous weekend.

His stats: 90 carries for 1,129 yards & 13 td's; 32 catches for 534 yards and 5 td's; 26 tackles and an it on defense where he is supposed to project. He played one year at that high school, don't know where he was before.

sr, I tend to think 24/7 grades on a "curve". I prefer Rivals who is more stingy with their "Stars"

Did some of the same stuff for them. Two int’s returned for TD’s, at least a dozen more on offense.

Like many have said, WF will not reach and Norman is likely a three star type guy. I really trust this staff.

Look for us to get Dalmont Gourdine or Marcus Harris tomorrow and shut it down. If we can find a grad transfer after May, then the class will be done.

The biggest mystery of this recruiting class will be Tyler Scott. Would have been our highest recruit and was a lock going back to October. What happened is anyone’s guess?

The guy I would have love to see come here was Zach Edwards. He could have been an impact guy.

Charvis Thornton would have another late addition. Had a lot of offers and looks like he is staying with La Tech.

Jalen Williams is another kid to keep an eye on. I think he visited, but do not know if he was offered.

Good class overall, only lacking a QB. Personally, I wish we could have picked up another LB or WR, but we did address most of our needs.

Norman signed early this morning so we’re probably just waiting on one guy.
