I am not a fan but I’ll hold off complaining to them until after all the signing is done. It’s too cute and unfootballey.

the early signing period sure has changed the tension we used to feel on this day.

Doesn't the tension just move up to December?

not really because now you get another bite at the apple in February. Before it was all or nothing.

There are some comments on Twitter from UConn follower accounts that say UConn expects to miss out on Dalmont Gourdine because he’ll sign with Tulane. So that’s official.

That was my thought too.

Is it though? I'm really curious about the true story of someone being wooed away from us by a school in a cold northern climate with significantly lower academics and whose team literally set records last year for terrible-ness... If we really, really wanted him.

Disappointing that we didn’t get a pass rusher today. You can never have enough of them. There’s 1,400 names in the transfer portal. Hopefully we can get quality out of it.

Hodges and Dixon are closer to the edge rusher mold & we signed two good ones last year.

FOURTEEN HUNDRED? holy crap. That's a lot of dissatisfaction.

We kind of struck out in the late period. When you look at who we brought in (and who we continued to recruit), it was a big zero except for the DB.

I am really surprised we lost Gourdine. Also lost Harris and Hickman. Does anyone know what Williams did (sign with Colorado?). Matocha, Thornton, and others I am forgetting. Just a big zero.

I expect we will be hitting the transfer market with everyone else.

At the function tonight Fritz said we'll only add a great fit, wasn't worried about QB (he'd rather have signed one), and the full schedule comes out tomorrow.

All The early enrollees were there. Kanyon Walker is already bulking up. One of the coaches mentioned that Hodges is up to 260.

Williams signed with Jones J.C. Couldn’t leave home.

I’d rather sign a grad transfer or two and flip the scholarship than sign a guy we don’t love. Lot of grad transfers making the rounds. Keep an eye on Jalen Bates and Terrell Chatman from Arizona St. Both LA guys who were heavily recruited by Tulane out of HS.

Another old name, Sci Martin, signed with Missouri. Better them than us.

Looks like CWF signed a PWO at QB - Cameron Dartez out of Catholic HS in BR
