Armoni Dixon tweets his commitment
LB, possible DE from Chicago tweeted his commitment just now. He was on campus this past weekend.
247 credits him with offers from Syracuse, Cincy, Navy, Miami O, and Ball St.

I'm sure the weather sold him!
Re: Armoni Dixon tweets his commitment
My national organization always has their annual meeting in late October or November; a few years ago it was mid-November in Boston. A rheumatologist from San Diego always does a wrap-up of the meeting the last morning; he opened his remarks that year with "I'd like to thank the ACR for giving me the chance to come to Boston in November; I guess Anchorage was taken already." We were in Chicago late October; that and a trip two weeks ago to Peoria for an aunt's passing reminded me quickly why I am glad I live a lot farther south.MNAlum wrote:I'm sure the weather sold him!
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

After I read he was visiting, I hoped he would commit. Good news.long green wrote:LB, possible DE from Chicago tweeted his commitment just now. He was on campus this past weekend.

As someone who was sold by many, many things at Tulane, weather being one, I'd say so. But if that were really much of a factor, we'd get a lot more, and better, recruits from farther north.MNAlum wrote:I'm sure the weather sold him!

Hey, did you know Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits in the 1500s, was Basque? How’s that for a threadjack?Yankeewave wrote:Goes to Loyola who just won state title in largest division and has been at top of catholic league last few years.

I did! I took lots of Spanish history courses in college!
Re: Armoni Dixon tweets his commitment
Put the below in a different thread. FINALLY is all I have to say.
Kid from Loyola is in the Catholic League (and a perennial State Contender in the largest division). If we can get in with them and their conference mates.... oh boy oh boy.... BTW this kid and the New Trier kid means someone is working a specific area of Chicago (pleasantly surprising it is the area I've been harping on, maybe someone read my rants).
