according to watchstadium website here is a grad transfer Tulane has interest in who'd be immediately eligible to play:
Camron Justice, 6-3, 180, SG, IUPUI
Stats: 18.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 35% 3-pointers
Scout’s take: “Skilled and crafty veteran guard who is a confident and aggressive scorer. Has some combo ability, but is most effective playing off the ball. Has deep range.”
Schools: Western Kentucky, Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Northwestern, Marshall, Colorado State, Utah State, Tulane, SMU, EKU, Illinois State

When I saw this kid on the ESPN list of top transfers I thought we could be in on him. The IUPUI connection drew my attention.

I wonder if Mcintosh and Trae Broadnax are still being recruited by Tulane. I would assume Hunter is very familiar with both of them having come from Georgia State.

Sehic has so many choices that I wonder what he would have done even if Dunleavy was still here. One year of eligibility left, but good enough to play in Europe if he wants to. By all indications, extremely bright and could just start his non-playing career if he wants to go that route. Basically, does he want to be part of a rebuild for one year?

What's really interesting is that there are several guys still on the roster that I would have banked on leaving. On the other hand, I didn't expect Wood or Daniels to leave.

I haven't heard anything about Connor Crabtree's current situation/leanings etc., other than along with nearly 700 other players nationally at this point he is in the transfer portal.

I see that he retweeted Wood's transfer announcement. Make of that what you will.

I'm guessing Crabtree is gone. Which would be a shame if true, I thought he had a skill set that would would work well in Hunter's schemes.

SEC's Greg Sankey: Wave of NCAA waivers "creates difficulties"
https://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com ... ficulties/

Interesting he doesn't really expand on the difficulties. I don't know that the waivers in themselves create difficulties, but the lack of any precedent for guidance has certainly increased the attractiveness of transferring and applying for a waiver. Boo hoo SEC

Crabtree to visit Boise St. and Richmond.

leveling the playing field... coaches can up and leave even under contract.. coaches can revoke scholarships.. the kids should have freedom to move from one school to another.. I understand we are losing 3 good hoops players, but we should be able to re-stock from other schools through the portal.

Could see him flourishing in Richmond's Princeton-style offense (assuming their coach sticks around - had a rough year and a lot of folks wanted him gone).

While I agree with your sentiment, Mooney is in dutch with the POB. Not well liked prior to this season, he is in real trouble now. Go figure, he is UR's winningest coach, but not well thought of. Has had two or three seasons where he has lost to their arch rivals and not finished higher than 5th in the A10. 2015 was his last good year.

I did. I saw that this morning and was surprised. I would guess Hunter wasn't that high on him.
