He'll sit out this year.
The gap between the top of the big leagues and their bottom is now bigger than the gap between their bottom and us - P.R. told me to do this

He was a recruit from the prior staff and the Georgia coaches this year were not great. Good get.

From the Atlanta paper:
Last season, as Georgia went 11-21, 2-16 SEC, Hightower averaged 6.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 17.4 minutes in 29 games, including 17 startrs, for coach Tom Crean. Over the final eight games of the season, he played 8, 7, 6, 5 and 5 minutes and did not appear in three contests.

Held LSU's Tremont Waters to six points when Hightower was a freshman; got raves from ex coach Mark Fox for defensive play.

Sounds like a hardship waiver to me. Change in situation

Jonathan Laurent, 6-7 F, transfer from UMass (would be a grad transfer)
Ronnie DeGray III 6-7 F, a prep school player who had an uncle I believe who played at ULL and his dad is from Lafayette, La.
Atticus Taylor, 6-7 F, JUCO guy from SW Mississippi Community College

We need a PG and rebounding machine/big body. Hope we get someone who can fills these needs and quick.
