Roy Williams is retiring at North Carolina. This should shake up other coaching positions and possibly lead to more transfers.

It's gonna take a heck of a ripple effect for Williams-related transfers to affect Tulane...

Thank god for names on the backs of the jersey. Our league is going to look very different next year. Wichita State seems to be keeping their roster in tact. He is doing an incredible job replacing Marshall.

It seems like not only are players transfer in droves, but a ton are starting caliber players.

Curious to your thoughts on grabbing transfers from schools within our league. I have very mixed feelings about it.

My view is you take anyone that will fit in that helps the team. I agree with you about the Wichita State HC. They have had I think 3 players transfer so far.

Mississippi State 6-7 220 F Jalen Johnson is transferring again. The Baton Rouge native signed out of high school with St Louis. He then transferred to Louisiana Lafayette, and then to Mississippi State. He put up good numbers at Louisiana Lafayette, but played limited minutes last season in Starkville. Tulane recruited him out of high school. He would be a RS Senior.

Could you just imagine our admissions office looking at this kid's academic transcript? Their heads would explode.

Transfers have slowed down to a trickle over the holiday weekend. The count right now is nearly 1200. Some players have withdrawn their transfer status and announced they are returning to their school. As posted previously, Jordyn Adams is expected to announce his school choice tomorrow.
