Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
247 hasn't ranked the kicker and the OL from Chattanooga. Our ranking is probably higher.
Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
Do the kickers generally get a ranking?

Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
Yes, however perfunctory, they do. Sometimes a kicker gets rated really high, for a kicker. What would another Cairo be worth to us? I'd call that worthy of a high 3 star rating.
The gap between the top of the big leagues and their bottom is now bigger than the gap between their bottom and us - P.R. told me to do this
Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
Based on college performance, Cairo should have been a 5 star recruit. I know some of these guys get rated out of high school by the recruiting services, I just didn’t know if a lot of them get that patented 2/3 star ranking.

Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
Yeah, our guy will get the "kicker who signs with Tulane" rating. Alabama's guy will get the "kicker who signs with Saban" rating. Which is why I used perfunctory.

Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
Let’s hope our kicker gets a rating. Didn’t someone say he was rated #4 in the country by some kicking service.

Does anyone know about how many schoolies we might have for 2021?

WF usually gets it to 25 so work with that assumption.
We still aren't there!

TU23, LG, or FTW, who do you see as the next couple of dominoes to fall our way?

On Rivals, we rank 72 nationally and 6th in the AAC (Navy ranks 4th with 56 commitments).

Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
So the 2021 recruiting class is the biggest clusterpoop. Why?
1.No visits, limited interaction, and basically telerecruiting.
2. The spring/summer evaluations at camps etc. didn't happen.
3. Since #2 didn't happen game film and previous film will be all the more important, BTW there is far less game film on some because of less high school games.
4. The 2020 class will be true freshmen again next year because of waiver this season. So you will have what amounts of two classes in one year.
What does all of this mean?
Well the 2021 recruiting class for everyone is likely to contain the most duds, diamonds in rough, and bad fits ever.

Poseidon, I think you are talking about the recruiting class that signs this December. Your use of both 2021 and 2020 is confusing. Cannot disagree with your conclusion.

He claims offers from Army, Navy, and WMU among FBS programs. I rather think he's not a PWO. Looks like a bigger Luke Jackson.

Re: 2021 TULANE FOOTBALL COMMITTMENTS
Found this write-up from a scouting service called CCS -
As the 2020 football season keeps rolling along, it’s hard to not continue talking about Father Ryan (TN) defensive end Parker Petersen and his ascension up recruiting charts. He has been a force thus far, causing havoc on the opponent’s offense whether it be sacking the quarterback or blocking punts on special teams. Petersen has been a one man wrecking crew!
His play on the field has definitely caught the eyes of several coaching staffs around the country. Petersen recently added new offers from Central Arkansas, Samford and Southern Illinois but also a strong list suitors interested in his talents including Akron, California, Coastal Carolina, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Kansas St, Lafayette, Lehigh, MTSU, North Alabama, SEMO, UAB, UConn, Vanderbilt and Wofford along with a few others.
Petersen is actually a busy guy right now. On top of his season and school work, the Irish edge rusher is also taking visits to college campuses. This past weekend, Petersen took visits to Illinois St and Murray St and has three more set for this week with Missouri St, Samford and Tennessee Tech. All five of those schools have offered.
At this current time, Petersen doesn’t have plans to commit as he feels his recruitment is about to go to another level and he wants to take several more visits before it’s all said and done. He doesn’t have a current leader as he remains open to all.

Wrestled in the 195 class. I imagine his weight shot up once he was done with his last season. Looks like a bigger Luke Jackson.

195 class high school wrestlers are usually pretty sculpted. Twitter link says he's closer to 235 now so he really put on some weight on his 6'5" frame.long green wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 5:30 pm Wrestled in the 195 class.
