Clocked at 4.42. 6-0, 200. 5th best player in LA in high school at Warren Easton. 16th best RB in the nation. 139th best player in the nation. Offers out of HS from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Tulane and others.

At CU he had 7 carries for 31 yards in 3 games in 2020 and was Pac 12 Freshman of the week against Arizona. In 2021 he played in 4 games and had 20 carries for 84 yards. He redshirted in 2021 and 2020 was the Covid year so he has 4 years left if he wants them.

Must've had a lot of Pac 12 teams on bye that week...

Or, he was the best freshman

He had 7 carries for 31 yards for the whole season, right? Even if all of that was in the one week...it's not that amazing. Not knocking the kid, just seems weird for that to be conference freshman of the week.

He's healthy. He just hasn't practiced with the team since April.

We could use experience in the secondary and this is a situation of him transferring to be close to family rather than transferring because he couldn’t get on the field. He was third on the team (UL) in pass break ups.

I follow Wes Fritz on twitter and he's looking in the transfer portal for a Defensive Backs. There's one from Duke that's in the portal that he liked as well as Greedy Vance. Also, there's a grad transfer DL from Stanford that he liked.

Hampton should have info on the Duke kid, but I’m hesitant about wanting him as Duke’s pass defense may be as bad, or worse, than ours.
