5 innings and 12 Ks? That's just silly!

And only 2 walks. Keep in mind they opened at home against Winthrop.

12k is insane! He almost matched our whole staffs k count for the entire weekend in just 5 innings. We had 16k's in 27innings. Not too good. Our walk count was 16 too, not good. Rolison must be the real deal.

Almost looks like we need to flip flop gillies and roper to give our selves the best shot at trying to take 2 games here. Love playing at ole miss. Haven't we won like 5 of our last 6 against them?

Hopefully we can keep it going, just don't have the pitching like we did the last few times we've played them. Hope they prove me wrong!!

not to knock the local krewe too much, they weren't calling the corners very often. I think our strikeout count could have been higher than it actually was.

To be fair, Tulane's teams the past few years seemed to strike out 12 times per every 5 innings in quite a few games, so maybe it was more their opponent ...

Hopefully, as it appeared last weekend, we have gotten past that.

Ole Miss' pitching is really good. Gonna have to win some low-scoring affairs, probably.
