That’s really nice looking. For years I’ve wished we had our own 18 wheeler like just about every other school has. The angry wave on the cab is the best part.

Very impressive. Will be very visible everywhere we go, and all along the way!

Might help with recruiting too!

It's cool looking, but what is it used for? Driving to games with the equipment or what?

ALERT!!!

They don't think we know how many wheels there are on the truck?

SARCASM!
The only problem with the 18 is that it won't be valid when we play on a January 1st game (or even later!) Guess they can change it to 19 pretty quickly.

Disapointed that AOSig, the most Buffett obsessed man I've encountered in decades, missed my reference (that I put there just for him) in the subject line

I thought for Devon but then I thought they wouldn't do that and that it's probably for 2018

I admit that I missed i', even though I am dressed in a shirt with "Boat Drinks" on the back, I have been at the happiest place on earth all week. Using this week to try to cheer up after getting daughter into the dorms as UCF. Just back from a morning at Epcot; will have dinner at 50's prime time for b'day this evening.... All good things must come to an end, head back tomorrow night.

A) Happy birthday
B) Did you drink around EPCOT (beer or wine version)?

Hopefully, this will take some of the stress away from our equipment guys. It appears that you will need a CDL to drive this rig, and maybe a “true” truck driver will get the equipment to the games. In the past, it’s been the equipment guys, and travel day(s) there, and travel day(s) back.

I don’t this for certain, but if a company is now transporting the equipment, it should help our guys.

Never really thought of this. Do teams really drive equipment to away games? I'd assume they'd take it on the plane somehow. So if Miami is playing BC, the equipment is driven all that way?

I want to see Hawaii's truck! Maybe they have an amphibious vehicle?

My son's former high school band has an enormous trailer; it has risers for several levels of storage for instruments, props, and uniforms. When they marched in the Tournament of Roses three years ago, the driver and his wife hit the road for Pasadena Christmas afternoon. It was neat seeing it parked on 7th Avenue outside Carnegie Hall this past March. The band chartered a 747 and 737 for members and families traveling with them; getting the stuff there was not as big a problem as what to do with the stuff once it gets there.

I am sure that the equipment might be flown on the longer trips; however, if the team is playing within 12 hours or so, just having that truck there would certainly add to the visibility of the Tulane name. We all loved seeing the Dobyns Bennett trailer in Manhattan; might be a bit of a rallying/ psychological boost to the players.
