5 D Players to watch - does D show up ? Turnovers?

Love the way we get serious press on opponent’s sites.

I know we are all focused on the QB and what will happen?

But we (at least I was) were very concerned about the D line and secondary before the season started. While we have been lucky at times ( players out of position and passes dropped, etc.) it has been learning on the job for many of our D players! I have been pleasantly surprised at times and disappointed at other times. But D should improve with each game!

How many turnovers do we force against SMU?

How many sacks?

I expect the learning curve to result in a dominate performance by the D

I said I felt okay in the spring after seeing them but they got off to a rough start, though one was an OL touted as one of the most experienced lines in college football and UAB’s line is better than expected as they’ve been rolling over people, but even in the OSU game you could see the young guys were starting to understand what they are doing. The LBs have also played pretty well and I had expected Keyes to be our better DBs and he’s learning how to use his height as an advantage.
