Happy Thanksgiving 2018

Post by Fan Since '54 »

To all forum members, have a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the four "F"s tomorrow offers...Family, Friends, Food and Football (Go Saints, or whatever team you support). And whether you are travelling nextdoor (50 ft) or hundreds of miles, please make your journey a safe one.

I hope to kick back after putting the kids to bed Thursday night and watch the Saints beat the Falcons like a drum.

And I'm not even (necessarily) a Saints fan.

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all.

Cakebread doesn't start with an F. Neither does Chardonnay, merlot or pinot noir...

Ah but Frog's Leap does … A nice Rutherford, Napa Valley winery. However, personally, I like a little Zen blend & spice with the pecan wood smoked turkey so The Prisoner is our choice for Thanksgiving.

I like that their corks have "Ribbit" on them. Forgive me, for I have Zinned!

Okay, that will work gerry. But some of us are stretching the limits of decency here. Maybe we should just use "Fun". Yeah, that one covers a lot of bases. And it fits more into the spirit of the thread.
At lease no one said "Go Falcons".

That reminds me. Excellent butt kicking by the Saints over the Eagles last Sunday. The king is dead. Long live the king. :green wink:

Everyone be thankful for the Miami Dolphins... imagine the world we'd live in had Saban not left LSUcks and won all these championships there.

And thankful that the dolphins' medical staff decided Dante Culpepper was a better health gamble than Brees! Saban might still be in Miami!

Turkey's in the smoker -
First beer has been drunk -
And in about 7 hours -
The bird should be done - as well as me.

Impressive. I assume we are of similar age but beer in the morning is not a recipe for my success. Kudos.

Me neither. Rum on the other hand is a healthier breakfast drink than even orange juice 8)
