Tulane was down 7-0 and 10-1, came back, but it wasn't enough. Tulane is now 21-11, 5-3. Segedin was 3-5 with a HR. Tomorrow's game could be one of the most important games of the season.

Wow, you can really sense that we have some boys that battle out there. Hate I can't see that one, I think I'll run over to Auburn and watch the bumper game of that one with my oldest-its all nutted today with LSU today.

We need to jump on Rice early since their bullpen is horrible.

I love this team.

My biggest issue today was that the Rice pitcher was greeat last year but had surgery and it was no secret that he has been on a pitch/inning count (60 pitches/5th inning(6th?) - why didnt we "see" more pitches from this guy rather than swinging away - maybe battle some fouls off just to get the count up early?

i know you cant predict how things will go but it seemed that we were content to let him (rice) dictate the game rather than Tulane get to the Rice bullpen. We seemed to play into their hands early and we didnt make their starter throw enough pitches.

I love this team though. How could you not? We let them get out the gates strong on us but we kept battling and I think these young kids will learn a lot about themselves, each other and the game of baseball by the way they played the last two games.

Last year, we probably would have lost 11-1, this year we battled back again, only this time we had a bigger hole from which we had to climb. We have a lot of new faces that came from winning programs and haven't developed that "here we go again" attitude. These guys are used to losing and they play until the very end...

I presume you meant these guys are "not" used to losing.

We were a pitching change one batter too late and a bad call by the ump when we had the bases loaded away from winning this game. Great effort to battle back. It would have been really easy to roll over and die when it was 10-1. This team has a lot of heart.

tulane.rivals.com, TWR, has had excellent post game coverage including audio from RJ post game.

I'd post something on the game but I really don't know what to say.

Hey btw, Brian Bogusevic made the front page of the T-P today.
