Was hoping to drive up to Philly today to watch in person but am dealing with my first bonafide bout of flu in 35 years. Was really looking forward to it, too. TV will have to suffice.

Temple is a 10.5 favorite and O/U is 148. Both seem about right. We already know about Tulane's lack of success to date this year as a road dog. Time to turn that on its head? Tulane needs Paul to stay out of foul trouble for defensive help, decent shooting, limited turnovers (10 or so would be great) and competitive rebounding from Reynolds, Cornish and Frazier. May it happen.

Anyone know health status of Ona Embo and Barrett?

This is a good test. It's a Temple team that will finish in the middle of the pack in the league despite their RPI at the moment. It really would be nice to get the first win on the road in the conference opener.

Temple is always hard to get a read on because their non-conference schedule is so murderous. They'll definitely be a test, especially considering our road woes.

Improving our shooting percentage in the first 10 minutes would help.

Not just that, but acting like we are not back in the hotel. It’s in the 20s in Philly today so I hope the team does not act like hothouse flowers.

My car was reading 11 this morning. 20 is downright hot.
