How about we get rid of the Angry Wave logo on our helmets? I prefer the interlocking "TU".

I wouldn't mind the interlocking TU as a special look. Everyone does them, we can do that at some point. But a "mark" is important as a way of getting people to recognize your teams and your product. The Angry Wave is what we've chosen and it works and is popular.

We also need to establish that it's our primary logo before we start throwing in secondary and throwbacks again. ESPN's app still uses our old one, so maybe once we have a consistent identity we can try a throwback game.

What part of building a noticable brand involves wearing non school colors. If they are looking for a third color for pants use sky blues.

I wouldn't mind it as a permanent look.
I like the mascot - just don't think it looks great on helmets; and you don't have to put the mascot on the helmet.

OK lets get this straight. Since we are committed to the Angry Wave Logo on the helmets this year:

White helmet with Angry Wave and either one or 3 stripes.
White Shirt with Green Numbers and "Tulane" above the number on the front of the jersey. (SWC)
Green Britches with 3 stripes down the outside.

and now commence the Sock debate.

and shoes. Green, Black or white.

P.s. we can discuss the interlocking TU from the late 70's or the TU "Shield" but one helmet logo per year. So it is moot for now.

Angry Wave beats combover everyday.
Little Greenie should be used for Outreach to kids.

Good thing I won't be watching this game on TV, as I don't want to see those ugly as sin pants. BURN THE DAMN GRAY.

Angry Wave is our logo. It's received universal praise and Troy Dannen has bought in 100%. You're not getting the "I wish it were still the 70s" interlocking TU helmet any time soon.

As discussed by some above, I don't mind the interlocking T/U helmet for one game, like maybe homecoming, but Angry Wave should be, and is, the primary helmet logo. I'd like to retire the green (and grey) helmets and stick with white.

The fact that teams do weekly "uniform reveal" videos is really pretty sad.

That said, the stuff they can do with drones is pretty cool.

Had we worn white jersey Army would have been forced to wear their black jersey
Given the heat it would have taken a toll on the Army players
Home field advantage
Whoever makes these decisions needs to remember next time Tulane has a daytime game in September

It's a nice thought, but home can only wear white jerseys if visitor says it's okay.

I don't think that is true anymore.

The site Uniform Authority named our uniform the 5th best from this week.
