I get your point. USF will be very tough, in fact it could be ugly. I don't expect it to be, bu tif the team goes 8-4 or 7-5 with but all the fence sitting locals remember is a two touchdown(likely spread) loss to USF I'm not sure that is going to help big picture attendance wise. Whereas if they come and see Tulane beat Cincinnati by a couple of TDs they will have a better taste in their mouth and more likely to cog to the Houston game.

If we beat FIU the USF game, in prime time, against a ranked opponent (who hasnt looked that good btw), on ESPN2, with all the buzz currently around NOLA, will be the biggest game we've had since before Toledo. Capitalize. And play well. We're ready.

I sure hope so.

Also, any students who come to USF, and a good number of regular people, will be at homecoming no matter what

Cincinnati is homecoming. It will be crowded already. Especially if we knock off either USF or Memphis and are playing for a bowl berth!

You can have a little more optimism than "hope nobody comes to this game in case we get beat".
