TU TAKES SERIES FROM PURDUE

We win the rubber game 6-2. Double digit hits again. Seven good innings from Gilles. Purdue is good.

Matt Rowlad's shimmy at second was everything. Glad the kids enjoying the win.

Let's get back on track and beat the buzzards and the bellpeppers.

11 Ks for Gillies making him the second pitcher to earn a Golden K (10 Ks) from the Greenbackers since starting the K tradition in new Turchin (Corey Merrill was the first).

Our offense has been consistent. If our starter can go 7+ we have a chance most games.

Really nice win today and Keagan was terrific.

We play four games this week against ULL and Long Beach State and if we pitch well we can have a great week. Neither one of those teams can hit the ball at all. Looking forward to playing more consistent.

Nice win. Maybe Keagan should start on Saturdays and use Massey or someone else on Sundays?

Is Ty Johnson injured? He didn't play Saturday and played only a few innings Sunday.

He aggravated an injury from the night before.

Any idea how long he'll be out or how serious the injury?
