WSU up 5-0 heading to top of 5. Ben White had a rough evening giving up 8 hits and 4 earned runs thru 3 and two-thirds. Trent Johnson now on the bump.

We get one back T5, 1-5. Bedgood, who is 12 for his last 24 since the start of play in Tampa, is a .300 hitter for us now. 2-2 today.

1309, I was going to say the same. Kid can really hit. Sally picks up big RBI. Not out of this yet.

Shockers answer back with 2 big runs. Now 7-1 top of 6. Got some work to do.

Losing 9-1 in the bottom of 7th. Will need to replicate yesterday’s 2nd inning to pull off the miracle.

We could care less what you think the social norm is.

I expected a letdown today. Shockers came to play. A couple of plays not made at first base opened the floodgates. That wasn’t our only problem — most everything went WSU’s way.

It's "couldn't care less". Get it right or pay the price

And clearly you couldn't care less that there is an entire section of the board for play by play

Plays not made at third also hurt us.

Lose 9-3. Very disappointing day. Missed out on a golden opportunity. We seem to be doing a Groundhog Day every Tuesday or Wednesday and Saturday. I would love to see us mix it up a little.

Not a lot of fan participation today. Kind of shocked given all the love for baseball. Where are our true blue fans? I’ll tell you - they are no where to be found.

I was busy trying to sync my tune-in broadcast on my iPhone with the espn3 video on my iPad. Doesn’t give me much time to post here.

Still if we can get a win tomorrow, our outlooked will be improved. We would be 5-4 and still be in the hunt.

I live tweet the games these days. Can’t be bothered to keep a book on a 13-19 team.

Cant really say it’s “disappointing”. I think by now we can all agree our best chance to win every series is for Roper and Gillies to go 7+ each start. Offense needs to do its part by providing run support, regardless who’s pitching.

Like I said earlier in another thread:

Except he's right, like 9 of the 11 threads below this one either start as baseball coach bashing or quickly decline into it.

I disagree. I’ve seen too many post over the years deleted and locked that were “plainly tounge in cheek.” The title of this thread is tasteless and just sucks. The word hate is uncalled for and as I said earlier, it is not in line with the spirit of the board rules. Besides football, the emotion or bashing as you put it really indicates how many people actually care about Tulane baseball. You wouldn’t see this at a lot of schools where baseball is a non factor. Our fans are disappointed and rightfully so. But “hate” and “sucks” in the subject line is pathetic.

This is just delicious. Did it rain on your wedding day?

I'm going to ban you for quoting Aalanis Morissette

Spoon continues to be hot getting a single raising his average to .331. Didn’t do anything else and heading to bottom of 1 with Keagan on the hill.

What days of the week DO you have any faith in us winning?

Shockers get 3 in the bottom of 1st. WSU gets three hits around one walk. Vickers picks up another hit to raise his batting average to .393. Let’s see if we can answer.

Friday. Used to be Friday and Sunday but after Gillies’ two straight 1-0 losses, his last two starts haven’t been as sharp and we still can’t hit opponents’ Sunday starters.
