Roper pitched well and we hit four home runs.

Roper allowed 1 run on 2 hits, all in the 2nd inning. After that he settled back down though he did walk himself into trouble a couple times but got out of it. We had at leas5 12 hits as well. A couple of those were no doubt homeruns and Hoese appeared to hit a 5th but was ruled foul. His ball cleared the house behind the left field wall.

After Spoon had words with the ump after a very questionable third called strike, the Memphis dugout yelled “respect the call” at him. His next AB he hit a homer in and flipped the bat in front their dugout!

Humbling season but at this stage steps are modest so take care of business and qualify for AAC tourney this weekend. Isn't UM throwing its ace today?
