is it based on paid attendance or total attendance to include those that support the team in other ways?

I wonder if athletic department will do it like they did ohio state one. Friends from notre dame said the tailgating at NU was not great last year, which is what i have heard growing up in the area. Limited areas and difficukt to get passes for cars

There are badically no bars or restaurants in area to host.

Ohio State was great because OSU actually has a pre-made "Visitor's tailgate party" room with a nice outdoor patio, bar service available, etc., that they just hand you (if you want to pay for it). Kudos to OSU for that. I'm not saying Tulane couldn't have put on a good tailgate on their own elsewhere (I don't know either way), but OSU has it all set up for visitors. If Northwestern doesn't have that set-up already in place - which I'm guessing from the ND comments, they don't - then it's up to Tulane to do something good.

I'd imagine we could get space in Welsh Ryan, the baseball diamond, or the practice field (just spitballing places they could rent out to visiting schools)

To be fair, I don't need to scout.

St. A's gym and then walk over.

MLB 2020 schedules came out. Both the Cubs and Sox are out of town that weekend (and Brewers also).

Dodgers are at Comiskey on Thursday, Sept. 9/10
Pirates are at Wrigley on Monday, Sept. 9/14

Why wait? You can catch the Biscuits in a playoff series on the drive to Auburn. If you're really ambitious, it's about 97% certain, the Yankees will be hosting playoff games in NYC during Army weekend in early October.

US is playing Mexico in New York on Sept. 6 this year, so if you're driving through Chattanooga on the way to Auburn, you can come hang and watch the game with me at the Chattanooga Brewing Company 8) .........

Just don't let me drink too much so I can drive to Auburn the next morning
