LOL, outlaw. It's not 2016 anymore. BTW, we should have won that game.

I'm in the "This is bad juju" club to have these threads so I will divert it slightly.

O/U is 56. I guess I'll go with conventional wisdom that this will be a relatively high scoring game and go with the over.

Meanwhile Tulane wins this game.

Saw WF said yesterday in presser that he guesses WF may have 80 to 90 plays. If they have 90, it will be hard for Tulane to win. I'm rooting for Fritzball to control the clock instead. 40 seconds between plays is a long time when you're grinding out first downs.

As we move closer to gameday, the weather forecast seems to be getting moderately better. And as of today's look, the threat of rain deminishes as the sun goes down. Nevertheless, bring your plastic ponchos.

Isn’t the New Orleans weather forecast from May 1 to 1 November always 40% chance of thunderstorms?

Honestly I think the rain favors WF. If it pours it should de-emphasize QB play.
No Rain: Tulane-34 WF-27
Pours most of the game: WF-24 Tulane-21

Well the line is now Tulane +6.5 and +218, Wake is -250.

Fwiw I’ve been following the weather and the models I’ve followed (at least) never made it look like rain was particularly likely for this Thursday, especially relative to this time of year. I think it’s gonna be fine. No promises August in Nola

I really like our chances, but Wake's experience really gives me pause. On defense 9/11 starters are Jr's or Sr's. Their O-Line may be the best in the ACC, they think this may be the best O-line they have ever had at that school. So much of this is going to come down to their QB play. A win in this game goes a long way.

Yup, as I said last week, if our defensive line does well stopping their run, we should be well-prepared for 10 of the remaining 11 games. Wake has the second best O-Line we'll see this year.

Meanwhile, some are saying Ohio State may have, on paper, the most talented and deep roster in the history of the school...

Congrats on your 30,000 post FW. You're only the second to make it there, after Roller.

I remember the old adage (or whatever you wish to call it) that if it rains on May 1, it will rain every day in the summer.

I think it is pretty much that way here in the Big Easy.
